It's deep- but SOOOOO worth it! If you're ever up for killing about 4 hours- the Masterpiece Theater Jane Eyre (2006) is BRILLIANT! The actress who played Lucy in the Narnia movies plays the young Jane. So wonderful. <br /><br />"I am no bird; and no net ensnares me; I am a free human being with an independent will."<br />- Charlotte Bronte, Jane Eyre (I cried at this part in the book/movie- you'll see why)The Newbie Novelisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12121446903045092728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896080918330692988.post-27415664587599869322010-09-16T22:25:04.339-04:002010-09-16T22:25:04.339-04:00This comment has been removed by the author. The Newbie Novelisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12121446903045092728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896080918330692988.post-54234594150682114032010-09-16T22:21:14.561-04:002010-09-16T22:21:14.561-04:00Nathalie, I know what you mean. Maybe it was the big butt dresses? ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896080918330692988.post-11113374846854320482010-09-16T10:34:01.887-04:002010-09-16T10:34:01.887-04:00I read books like that for fun, too! I definitely agree with the Victorian Era - I used to work at Sovereign Hill, this place in Australia set in the goldrush era, like an old-timey town, and dress up in those massive corsetted big-butted dresses. In summer, it was such a pain, so I'm amazed those women survived past 40! :DAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01445416054945632135noreply@blogger.com
